Up and down scrolls through the list right and left jumps from one menu to another, indicated by the icons at the top of the screen. Instead, browse the menu using your arrow keys. Click wherever you want, nothing is going to happen.
The first thing you need to know is your mouse is not useful here. The RetroArch user interface can be overwhelming at first, throwing you directly into a menu of configuration options. To launch RetroArch, simply double-click “retroarch.exe”. I put mine in “D:\Retroarch”, but it’s up to you. Drag the contents of this archive to a folder, and put that folder anywhere you’d like. You’ll need to download and install 7-Zip if you haven’t already, in order to open the archive. For example, if you’re a Windows user, click the “Windows” folder.īrowse and you’ll find a 7-Zip archive containing Retroarch. Here you’ll find the latest release for your platform. Head to the Libretro home page, then click the “Downloads” link in the top-right menu.
